Jason Campbell Benched

While playing the previously winless Kansas City Chiefs, Jim Zorn decided to bench Jason Campbell and see how backup quarterback Todd Collins would do in his place.
The idea was successful at first; Collins was able to throw for the Skins’ first touchdown of the game. However, the Skins still wound up losing 14-6.

Campbell was pretty off his game, throwing one interception and going 9 of 16 for 89 yards. This was one of the main reasons for Zorn taking him out. Collins completed only six of 14 passes for 75 yards. It is possible he will make more starts in the future unless Campbell can get his act together.
