As if their Redskins awful enough, the worst is yet to come. Tomorrow, the Redskins will play the Saints at home at 1:00pm. The Saints are 11-0. The Redskins are 3-8, but as inconsistent as they are, who knows what will happen. Logically, I’m thinking the Saints will win 42-14.
The Redskins will be missing key players, including Clinton Portis (concussion) and DeAngelo Hall (knee injury). Several players are unlikely to play, including Albert Haynesworth (ankle injury), Justin Tryon (hip injury) and Mike Sellers is a possibility (ankle injury).
Like I tell myself every weekend, if the Redskins could just win this game, I will never doubt them again. They did come up pretty close against the Eagles, and beat the Broncos, so anything is possible. We’ll just have to wait and see.
